The good news is that Canelo isn’t a constantly aggressive pressure fighter that is always moving forward with high volume anymore. Bud isn’t going to have to move a ton and should still retain a speed advantage

Probably his only option to fight Canelo was at this weight. And yeah for $60mm with maybe a chance to win take it!

I got Crawford winning via tko - Rd 7. Ima guess its a body shot, to the left side countering the uppercut/hook combo.

However I think his age (37) plus the added weight plus the fighter (Canelo) is not a good combination.
I think Bud could have done this at 29-30. 37 is old to be doing this for anything other than a gigantic paycheck (which he deserves and he SHOULD get). I don't think Bud looked all that great in his last fight - I think his age is catching up with him.

If Bud loses it will have very little to do with age. Age has hit Canelo harder than it’s hit Bud imo
He’s jumping up 2 weight classes and facing the undisputed champion straight off the jump, without a tune up. And even at 154 he only had 1 fight, so he’s basically jumping 3 weight classes, and fighting the best in the world, It’s actually insane. If he loses that’s why.
