Deab talked about the Peed family (wouldn't you change your name?) and how much caysh they have but also said they are very good friends with Frost.

The family member would only say a change is coming and wouldn’t go into details about it. This was a couple weeks ago.

I said this on RSS.... but the fact that we got a HS commit this morning seemed incredibly odd to me (who commits to a HC who is #1 on the hot seat?). But it makes sense now.

The staff must have told him "we're back in 2022, we just got confirmation from the U President". Just a thought. They probably even told the recruit "if you don't believe us, the university is making an announcement tonight at ___" or whatever.

I agree that getting a commit means nothing. However, a kid from York committing to Nebraska the day before the staff is fired is a bit different than a kid from Chicago committing to Nebraska.

I agree that getting a commit means nothing. However, a kid from York committing to Nebraska the day before the staff is fired is a bit different than a kid from Chicago committing to Nebraska.

Also, Frost is literally NUMBER ONE on the national "coaches on the hot seat" standings. Surely that would come up in the conversation at some point?

I'm just saying I thought it was notable that we got a commitment this morning at the same time when the entire CFB nation expects our coach to get fired. Or at least thinks it's likely.

Surely this kid's parents had to be asking non-stop about it.

If Frost is retained you can count me as one who will stop following football closely. The Husker Watch Group I started a few years ago had 100+ people for the first couple games this year. Today not 1 Husker Fan asked me where we were meeting. Apathy has set in, definitely Battered Wife Syndrome. My uncle can't even watch the Husker games anymore because his blood pressure goes through the roof. He is dropping his tickets after being in the family for over 50 years plus no more donation if Frost is retained. He has finally seen the light after 3 seasons of making constant excuses for Frost and blaming Riley for everything. Not only is Frost ruining the enjoyment of watching Husker Football for me but it is also making my older retired relatives depressed because football on Husker Saturdays has been a thing for them for 60-70 years. They looked forward to it and now most aren't even watching the Husker games.

Probably drop my RSS Subscription which I've been meaning to do anyways. But will hold it at least through basketball season.
