In my initial post I wasn’t saying they don’t beat Michigan and Maryland I was just saying those are 2 of the stronger teams you’re asked the best in the Big 10.

I don’t put as much weight into conference tourney championships as you. 2 out of the 3 Big 10 championships we got hot at the right time after having pretty mediocre seasons. His last regular season title was 2021.

I would definitely agree with this argument if they kept it up into regionals but both years they’ve won the Big 10 tournament, they didn’t have a very good showing at regionals.

I just don’t think a good week at a tournament in your home state so you have a built in advantage should absolve you of having a mediocre year.
