Rhule has built a certain toughness that I like. He doesn't understand that the Big Ten is basically the NFL in terms of competitiveness. Most games will come down to a single score.

Been a no and itll remain a no. Watching this Illinois and Indiana game only reinforces my viewpoint.
Both these schools have less of everything and still we would/are being out coached and out developed.

Sidenote: wouldn't fire him, think we are kinda screwed. Probably another down year on hiring candidates. Rhule also still remains the best candidate out of a poor 2022 coaching hiring year.

I just don’t think Rhule is the guy. The last coach to win a national title who’s never won a game in his first 3 seasons at the school against a top 25 team I believe was Bill McCartney at Colorado in 1990. Most coaches since then who won a national title at least beat a top 25 team in the first 2 seasons.

I hate to say it but you either know right away if you have it with a coach or you don’t

In still. I don't know if Michigan is a great team, but I think they are better than a lot give them credit for. Same for N. Huskers should've put this away a few times, and whatever 1st quarter was shouldn't have happened. True, that is on coaching, but lots of games left. I think this game gives a lot to learn from and take away from it. If not, then I'll be out on Coach but not at this point in the season because of a close game with Michigan.

He doesn’t understand? He literally says the opposite like every other press conference lol

And I think that’s part of the problem.

He’s comfortable taking games into the 4th quarter, because ‘B1G Football’.

It’s not the right way to coach.

Rhule has us in a much better place and will continue to make us better imo. It is going slower than I would like. I think he should’ve cut a lot of fat and been more aggressive with transfer replacements however I am not sure if part of the problem is money. We will be competitive and a consistent 8+ win team imo. As far as making the next jump it will requirement more money and changes.
