Yes.

Difference is we have extended coaches instead of cutting bait.

Those other blue blood types move much more quickly than we have, and that means in 8 years they’ve had 3 chances to hit where we’ve only had 2.

Texas got their guy. UF trying again, FSU will try again next year all while we’re stuck with what we know won’t ever work.
Everyone talks about the buyouts and how much they are. Extensions are way way dumber and costly

We’re getting off on a different subject but an important one. I am not always right. You do the message board thing for as long as I have and put thousands of “takes” in writing you’re going to be wrong a lot.

The biggest indicator for me on coaches is who they hire to come with them. To me Rhule was a good hire. But his first staff was awful and it’s caused us to be here. Had he nailed his first staff we aren’t here.
You are never right. Wanted to correct

I guess I just don’t agree. Frost would need to win 15 games in a row to be .500.

Rhule has the better wins and none of his losses are as bad as Georgia Southern or a 1 win Northwestern team. I think we’re forgetting how bad and embarrassing it was. Comparing only their B1G records is dumb when Frost has losses against Troy and GS.

With that said, it’s not good enough — I’m with you there. If I had to bet, Rhule doesn’t get it turned around but firing him after this year is unrealistic.
Every game Rhule coaches is embarrassing

Taters fail to realize all the talk about the bowl drought was just to make a point about how incredibly bad we were, not that we’d be happy scraping by at near .500 as long as we make a bowl game every year, as if accomplishing something that 80 other teams you’ve never heard of do every year is something to actually be proud of. Congrats guys we’re mid again, pay that man

My worry with Rhule is what is an example of the identity of his teams/coaching that we can expect every year? So far it’s not being able to beat top 25 teams or we’re going to fall apart in the 2nd half of the season.

So far Rhule brings flash with the speeches or social media/podcast or McAfee appearances but I’d like to know that Rhule’s team can always run the ball/play defense/mistake free football/QB play but we’ve seen he’s very dependent on his coaches & he’s not great at picking the right ones.
