im still amiss why the numbskulls here would think he would turn it around when he has a record of losing the team and culture issues.

It’s a real fucking mystery to me as well. It’s now evident, even to the casual fan, that there are at least 3-4 coaches on this staff that aren’t good enough for this level of football. Rhule needs to take a hard look in the mirror and decide if he wants to be loyal to shitty coaches or be a winner. And unfortunately I think I know the answer. If he makes the changes I could be back in on him

We’d have Kyle McCord and he’d arguably be playing better than Raiola. But Rhule invested in the future with Raiola.

I also think it’s unfair to say this schedule is shit. Colorado is better than expected. Illinois and obviously Indianus are too.

That’s not me giving Rhule and co a pass for today. Absolutely unacceptable.

If you’re not going to stretch the field you have to be way better than 2.8 ypc as a team and your garbage time qb as your leading rusher

I assure you I have eyes, pretty ones at that. We got beat bad today, no arguing that. But we’re a historically bad team with a high ceiling QB and a defense who usually does not allow that kind of offensive production. Till today we all thought TW was so good he’s definitely going to be a HC next year… and now you want to fire him? We were never a 10-2 team. Be happy with 7-5 and extremely happy with 8-4.

And if a bad loss makes your life this miserable maybe you should just watch volleyball. They’re beating OSU right now, pretend it’s football

TW's defense has been getting exposed for it's weak spots for a while now. The TW is gonna be a HC somewhere next season talk has died down or ended a while back. I still want him here, and think he can adjust his weak spots and improve. Some of it is personnel on the field, we have some talent deficiencies also.

DR is the real deal, and probably the best true QB we have ever had. But a true frosh is a true frosh, and his confidence has been shaken for a while now. Our offensive scheme is just bad. Play calling bad. And skill player talent not nearly as good as we thought/hoped. Unrealistic to think a true frosh QB, even a really good one, can take shit and make wagyu steak out of it. Biggest issue though, is our OC is so easy to read and makes few adjustments.

I agree with not letting a bad loss ruin your day/week/life. Part of that is the fact that NU football has been so bad for so long now, the expectations are now "well, what did we think would happen" instead of all of Husker nation being depressed for a month from one loss.

Too bad next game is OSU. The team and program has had, and still has, the problem of expecting to lose, not expecting to win. I know they want to win, but inside don't think they yet believe in themselves nor hold themselves to the level of not accepting losses. Is what it is until it finally changes.
