Kind of interesting that not many of these guys were part of that March 25th big recruiting weekend. So it seems like the strategy was just to get loads of guys in during the spring at any time, early, late, doesn't matter. There doesn't seem to be some emphasis on the spring game that is bigger or more important than the weekend or midweek visits that have come before. What I mean is that we had top targets visit whenever they could instead of pushing the spring game as the big day.

Now we need to see who gets locked in for an official visit which I assume will start happening in June. Those will be the players we can safely assume the coaches are hot after as targets.

Then gameday in season visits for later targets and players they identify later on in the process for example from summer camps.
since March 1st we had the following number of visits (some people took two visits; I didn't try to count unique visitors, just visits). This includes tomorrow

Class of 2024 - 73 visits

Class of 2025 - 24 visits

Class of 2026 - 6 visits

I can't ever remember us have this many visits in 8 weeks in the spring before

This staff is still behind on the 2024 class so definitely had to get as many kids in as possible this spring.

The portal and the early signing day in December really pushed the recruiting calendar towards the spring when summer and early fall used to be the main times. Now fall visits are like the last pieces of your class and anything after the season is just filling in holes on recruiting misses.

Sipple wrote this morning that a longtime SEC AC told him his school had over 400 UVs during their four weeks of spring practice. That's hard to believe.

OTOH, it means that if a recruit we want takes a UV to an SEC school, it may not create that much risk considering probably only 6-7% of those UVs end up signing.

No one on the staff is following Fegans

can't tell on Conner - his twitter account was suspended. Twitter is such a dumpster fire now. I'd hate to be relying on it.
