The Masters is cashless and when I was there last year I've never seen a more efficient operation. You'd be behind 100 people in line and within 5 minutes you're waking out with your food

That's because they're a competent organization. 90% of people pay with card anyways and paying with cash isn't even any slower. Actually often it's faster because when Cletus' card gets declined he's gonna be digging around in his wallet and talking about how that card never gets declined

Only rebuttal is the old people that do pay with cash don’t get their wallet out until the total has been rung up. Then try to find exact change and are just generally slower people. Aka old people. That’s most of what I witness on top of the shitty registers and broke people using cards with no money.

They will. They already have them at PBA for concessions. A lot of the time, they'll say, "Just so you know, tips go towards our fundraiser", etc...

General rule of thumb, if I'm ordering sitting in my car or standing up, there's no need to tip.

If there’s no differentiation in service level then there’s no need for a tip.

Just depends on if they go cashless and then still charge you 3% on using a card like they did at some places in okoboji.

You do know people have CC scanners attached to phones nowadays. Square and others. Wouldn’t take much for a friend to block your view while another scans your card.

Yes I realize cards and transactions can be cancelled. It’s a pita though.
