And so it begins...(tracking Coach Prime decommits/transfers)

There are rumblings on FB that Prime is adding Ray Lewis and other former NFL stars since their philosophy is that great players equate to great coaches. Prime can’t do no wrong in the eyes of Puff fans. I’d love to be a fly on the wall there to watch the shit show unfold. I thought the first staff he had was descent and had something to build off of from last season. But it’s obvious Prime is not involved with the day to day coaching and that’s why everyone is jumping off the boat.

This is going to hilarious to watch…

I mean, get your degree where you can I guess. My Bellevue University degree-mill BS degree pales in comparison to TsCU degree 🙄

In 2023, Sapp graduated from Texas Seminary Christian University with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Sports Management.

I know that this will come as a shock, but after looking at the website for Texas Seminary Christian University, I believe that the South Hampton Institute of Technology may be a higher rated school...
If you pair that degree with a high school diploma from Central Richmond Agricultural Prep, you are a big load to deal with, educationally speaking.

Just makes the Sanders experiment more interesting. Replacing proven assistants with great NFL players with practically zero coaching experience is an interesting gamble. I'm expecting a spectacular train wreck, but who knows maybe it will be incredibly successful. Just appears that the moves were made trying to stay high in media stories and social media instead of trying to make a better team.

What defensive coach is he replacing - did they lose their DL position coach too?

Lost OC, DC, OL, DE and TE assistants. 5 new assistants, 6 new HS recruits.

Replacements so far look as Shurmur, TBD, Loadholt, Sapp, TBD. Only one that has been a college assistant is Shurmer back in 98. Loadholt has been an analyst for a couple of years.

Others have answered that the DE coach is gone. BUT that wouldn't have mattered. I could 1000% see a world where Deion hires a new assistant before even informing his current coach that he's being replaced. Kinda his M.O. if we are being honest.

So, the obvious take is Prime is such and incredible developer of coaches, he helped half his staff grow to bigger and better jobs!
