I get the sentiment. My point being if he throws the ball like he has they get the same production out of qb as they had last year. If you run him 8-10 times a game what's the difference?K St. returns a 1,400 yard rusher at RB. Martinez didn’t have the o line or RB at Nebraska to take some of the pressure off of him. He will this year. He’s not a great QB, but he will no longer have to make every play for the offense to succeed.
His RB being better is kind of irrelevant to my point. He may win more games because of the RB and have the same or even worse production. Does that make him more successtul?
If he is specifically better how much of it is the pressure on him being less and how much is it the defenses he's facing being worse?
