College GAMEDAY on in the background, excited for Pat McAfee, but I hate everyone else. Wish he joined Big Fox Noon show instead. Switching over to B1G pregame at 9, then Big Fox at 10.

Really need Kansas State, Texas Tech and Florida to win today for me to win back to back trophies of my pickem league I’m in. Season 3 ends today.

Did the same thing last weekend but substitute the brisket for the pork butts. The brisket actually turned out perfect.

Typically cook the 8 pounders for 10 hours at 200-225 for the majority of it. Ribs I go 3-2-1

Pork butts and briskets are done when they are done. Sometimes they take 8 hours, sometimes they might take 12. That’s why drinking and grilling-smoking go together well.

I prefer to use a local rub called “Fat Boys” and then I have some billy simms sauce from my trip down to Tulsa a month ago I brought back. He makes a good sauce that sooner does.
