probably something to that, but i feel like its rare that a 5* recruit is a total miss. now, low 4's and high 3's, that's a different story. they're also not demanding 7 figures to commit either.

I get going all in on guys like Manning or Raiola, but for the most part it doesn’t make sense to spend crazy money on recruits. I think you can do better building out of the portal money wise in a lot of cases.

Didn’t A$M spend some crazy amount on their last class? I would like to see the hit or miss on 5 star qbs? I bet the misses are more than you think at that position considering pro teams miss so much on top qb prospects.

I’m sure though that the boosters will be ok with him sitting if another guy beats him out right?

Ya gotta face the fact that college football Is not ever going to be the same. The top 15-25 schools that are willing to really pay are going to pull away.
