He was willing to leave, it's not clear that he knew he'd be a back up at Oregon. That is, I think the story doesn't really change regardless of where he ended up

There's a guy on RSS whose wife works with Donnie Raiola's wife, and she said the plan was to redshirt Dylan next year even if Moore left to make sure he's 100% recovered from his injury for the '27 season. Of course, it's moot now, but I wonder if he really would have sat out with the '26 Oregon QB1 job basically being handed to him.
