Fwiw DB said this morning that he felt like they didn't need to take another RB. He was looking at the numbers though I think most of us are looking at production.

Mainly bring it up because it seems like DB and Rhule think along the same line on these kinds of things.

I wish Nelson or Mozee had more productive reps in ‘25, but there is talent there. Fix our run blocking and play calling and I think we’re OK. Not great, but OK.

I think the biggest concern with Nelson, besides his excessive fumbling in practice, is that he has gotten into a bit of trouble off the field with the coaches. Remember he was suspended for a while. Coaches were concerned. May have been for little or big things but either way he has been a bit of a problem child at times when not on the field.

There is a lot of potential there but I think going into year four needing some wins it would be a good idea to bring in a guy with some production.

There's plenty of reasons. A year ago we thought we'd have a freshman ready to play in '25, but I don't know if he ever practiced

In fairness, unless it comes out the Rule is on the juice, there's a pretty big difference between the two.

It does appear to be moving in a direction that Buchanon will be visiting Lincoln later this week. Nebraska will also be hosting Michigan State long snapper transfer Jack Wills tomorrow. You can anticipate a second wave of recruits maybe kicking off next week with the primary focus being on interior defensive linemen.
