I hope you're right about it not happening. I just don't need to hear Gus Johnson screaming about how "Raiola's doing it to his former team!!" 85 times during that game as they beat us 55-10.
The reason I fear it MIGHT happen is that I think Lanning would know how desperate that Dom/Dylan are to make this JR season work. If Dylan flops, his NFL hopes are in big trouble. I think Dom could act like an a-hole/helicopter dad when he had leverage. He had some leverage with OSU and UGA when DR was a hot recruit. And he had tons of leverage against Rhule/NU bc we needed him. They have zero leverage left at this point.
I'm afraid Lanning might take a chance on him (a) bc the QB portal options aren't great and (b) Lanning might realize that Dom is gonna STFU bc everyone knows how desperate the Raiolas are in yr 3. Also (c) Oregon is big in Hawaii and signing Raiola would be big to further their dominance of getting blue chip Poly recruits.
What Oregon SHOULD do is empty the bank vault for Dampier at Utah. But he hasn't entered the portal. And I don't know if Whittingham would go for him etc. Or if he even wants to leave Utah.
