local safety from 2025 class, was ranked as like the 117th best safety in the class. This is dead weight, he will end up at the FCS/D2 level IMO

Then after a year or two of not working out if they don't work out, we can cut them because 'hey, we need to win by having players step up.' If they do work out, great, you have a good roster player from the state of Nebraska.

I get it. I should have asked, what was the point in signing him specifically. Probably should take a flyer on a Millard South kid if we're hoping for an old school walk on situation.
