I can confirm as a ‘new guy’, the information contained in these hallowed halls differs greatly from what I was expecting.

I'm pretty sure there are a lot of Harry Balz out there. Some are shaved, but not that many.

I played softball with a guy named Roland Shafer. Who cares, right? The problem was that wasn't his real name. His given name was Roland Bals and growing up everyone called him Rollin Balls. He hated the name so much that he legally changed it. His son's name is Dave Shafer, but everyone now just calls him Balls for short.

As if that wasn't enough, his dad's name was in fact Harold Bals. Well known to everyone as Ol Harry Balls. I found his obituary.

Dean made mention on their Monday show of “a name” that Nebraska could be looking at bringing in for a visit after the dead period end tomorrow. Curious if we’ll see that come to fruition and what position that player would be.
