I never got the love for Ervin, even when 'healthy' he never showed out. Yet it seemed every fall the coach would love him he got hurt.

Yes. Injuries tore that dude apart. Zero lateral movement and poor acceleration are not good traits at the RB position. His future is at FB if he even plays again.

Really? He seemed to not be very invested in S&C and tended to get owned a lot. Maybe he improved later in the year but I would’ve put him on the obvious going out list.

Keona Davis is more important than this one, IMO. And hold on to Simpson in the 2025 class.

Not disappointed by it necessarily, just surprised. I feel like younger linemen that show some version of promise would’ve been candidates to stay - he seemed to be very bought N but guessing he didn’t get the feedback he was looking for from staff.

I think he was a Tony White guy committed to Syracuse then came over with White when he was hired if I'm remembering right.

Yeah he was committed to Syracuse. I thinks he's got real solid upside and was clearly ahead of some of the other dudes his age in the pecking order, but he had the longest relationship with White of anyone

Fair enough. See he played some this year, but coaches or anyone never really talked about him being good.
Feel like he probably played more because everyone around him on his area of the depth chart are booty cheeks than him being good. If he was good or had high potential someone at some point would have talked about him

Count me in on the “surprised” list for Jackson leaving. I was never impressed by what he did on the field but he got 2nd team reps as a rFr. He also seemed to be into the culture of the program. I assumed the coaches were playing him to show the other players how buying in could benefit them.
Jeudy, RVP, Cam, and Jimari was going to be our starting DL next year regardless. Hopefully we can hold onto Cam.
