It's been rumored that a handful of teams may touched basis with him to see his interest in potentially leaving. I don't think he will have a hard time finding a home.

In other news, can we just have Ron Brown recruit RBs for us? When he was RB coach, we went from Helu to Burkhead to Ameer. Then he comes back with Mickey Joseph and recruits the best RB we have had since then with EJ. I know he is an extremely polarizing figure to many, but he clearly has a remarkable eye for finding RBs.
In Ameer’s class didn’t he get like two 4 star RBs as well?

Just thinking out loud here, but maybe there is a guy available who has recruited RBs sometime in the last 10 years and whose last great one was more recent than 15 years ago. It might mean casting a wide net, but could be worth it.

There’s always exceptions to rules and Henry is that for now

I’m a firm believer of you never want to give an nfl rb their second contract. So many go down, we’ll see how Saqons body holds up the next 4-5 years of his deal.

Similar to how Ashton Jeanty would be the exception to the rule this year in CFB if the open market.

But EJ isn’t similar to Jeanty or a college equivalent to either nfl back
This is why I disagree with your point though. RBs’ $ value is skewed in the NFL because of their mid/long-term injury risk and shelf life. In the college portal context you’re just considering the guy’s next 1-2 years. What does Boise care by running Jeanty into the ground, by the time it matters it won’t be their problem. The risk that naturally depresses an RB’s value in the league doesn’t really apply in college.

Dude gets the Miami recruits
