Kind of odd for Cockeye to get into the portal game for players since they pride themselves for being a developer of talent. Then again, they usually take QBs from other schools who maybe only have a year of eligibility left. I’m surprised they didn’t take a run at McCord.

As soon as that guy sees their WR room he's gonna grab a couple of the slices of free pizza they ordered him and dip out the backdoor and end up picking Northern Illinois or Colorado State.

Well, Cockeye still does find a way to move the ball on us through the air. With all of the WR's in the portal and only so many options to land at, Cockeye will probably get some lowly rated WR and make lemonade. Plus, I'm shocked they haven't announced their new OC yet.

So this guy was at Oregon and jumped ship when he got Dillon Gabriel recruited over him, so he's been in the portal for nearly a month now. I looked up to see his other visits and haven't found a thing. Some of the earlier articles said he could stay on the West Coast or go to Houston or Tulane, but nada from there. So is this guy overhyped and no one wanted a 5-star QB with two years left, so his only option is the Cockeye Cockeyes?
