He announced he was going to. But he couldn’t officially enter the portal until it opened this week, though.Didn’t this happen in October?
Cockeye quarterback Joey Labas has entered his name into the NCAA Transfer Portal, per reports from Tater Island Sports.
Labas just finished his sophomore season with the Cockeyes after joining the program as a four-star recruit in 2021.
Labas made his first and only career start for the Cockeyes in last year's Music City Bowl. In that postseason win over Kentucky, the then-freshman quarterback led Cockeye to a 21-0 victory — throwing for 139 yards and one touchdown.
Labas did not take the field for the Cockeyes this season. After Cade McNamara suffered a season-ending ACL tear in September, sophomore quarterback Deacon Hill stepped in as the team's starter for the rest of the season.
Labas has two seasons of remaining eligibility.
Sims gone. Everybody can relax now.
Wow, Klein is leaving KSU? I always assumed he'd stick around until Klieman left and gun for the HC spot.Should we cross Howard off the list with Optimus Klein heading to A&M to be their OC?
Vandagriff predicted to Kentucky this quickly is interesting. He's been in the portal for an hour or two lol.
Sioux City SHOULD provide a small athlete base to recruit from but they haven't really had many notable athletes at all in the last 15 years lol. Always been disappointed by the caring for development thereYep Sioux City is a shit hole

Mike Gessel and Adam Woodbury the only ones i can think of. Norfolk has produced more D1 talent than Sioux City the last 15 years by a wide margin and Sioux City is 3x the populationSioux City SHOULD provide a small athlete base to recruit from but they haven't really had many notable athletes at all in the last 15 years lol.
