Don’t think that’s the issue. Players always overestimate their worth on the market.
How many Nebraska players outside of Hausman have had success finding a home in the portal?

Most players that over estimate their worth are guys that haven’t played at decent to great teams.

Could also be a bad sign. Players not thinking they’ll have a decent landing spot so staying on and eating a scholarship.
Good point. As an example, we’ve all seen posts that Purdy would enter the portal if Rhule brings in two portal QB’s. My thought is, where would he go? What film there is on him isn’t a stellar selling point. Not saying it wouldn’t happen. I think it may be that the best landing spot for him is to stand fast.

Then again, Purdy could enter the portal in 3…2…1…

What's the general consensus on here about Nebraska not taking many kids in the portal this year? Seems like Christmas time with lots of new shiny toys that we all want, but with limited room and Rhule's mentality of building a program from the ground up, developing, and keeping the guys we have on the team, we aren't really going to get any of these guys. Instead we will just watch as other programs get guys they think will be program changers. You can look at this as a glass half full and see Rhule sticking to his methodology and a strong program culture where not many guys want to leave (seen by Rhule's comments that he expects very few players to enter the portal), or half empty that we are kind of stuck with who we have and some of these transfer players could be better than some of the high school recruits we are bringing in to develop.

My general view is this is a positive for Nebraska overall. While we lost to CU, we saw how that whole season crumbled for Deion and how that wasn't really sustainable. It would be nice, though, to get about 5-10 new guys on offense (2 QBs, RB, WR, TE, and maybe a couple OL).

I also realize it is funny to watch what is happening at CU, but it wouldn't surprise me to see them land a number of pretty big time transfers again. Lots of players are leaving their program again (which should be a red flag), but they also have a lot of talent at the skill positions. If you are a quality OL or defensive player, you can walk right in and start there. Will be interesting to follow them again. Just really hope we don't let them come in here next year and embarrass us.
All we can really do is watch this all play out over the next couple of years or so.

I'd be more nervous if I was CU fan than I am as a Nebraska fan. It is frustrating not being able to get in on as many "immediate impact" guys but that hit/miss ratio is not great overall. Nebraska can't afford portal misses.

It’ll depend on what’s most important to him.

He and his family are shard enough to know if he portals he’s not going power 5 again.
He’ll get some G5 looks, but does he want to compete for a g5 spot or enjoy being spoiled as a back up at Nebraska.

Like how you feel walking into the club with your girl and nobody checks out her booty.

I really hope our posts don't end up jinxing Nebraska.
Here’s the situation, she’s a 4 and you’ve got a 4” dick.
She’s peeping but no one wants her except the guy in the corner who says he had a 6”er bit really has a 3”er

he won't have a shot a starting because Day is bringing in a transfer who will be guaranteed the starting job
Air Noland is enrolling early. I doubt he promises the job to any transfer

My criteria for a pasty QB - Did they play basketball?

Sam Leavitt - yes
Lincoln Kleinholz - yes
Will Howard - yes (F/C though, which is a knock)
Kyle McCord - no

Two of these guys are getting pushed out, one by Avery Johnson who has a mixtape. Do the math
