Legitimate question. How did the connections to such good inside info begin and why don't bigger media sites like HOL have the same thing? Is it really just a Callahan issue as to why this site is that much better?

From what I understand (and this is hearsay) he had struggled a bit with alcohol. He then sold his sauce business, but am unsure if the alcohol is what caused him to take that route? But he'd also mentioned that the tailgates just became too much work and he wanted time for he and his family. It almost sounds like a man (a good one) that decided to re-prioritize what was important to him.

Still fucking love Sparky's Fire and pick up a bottle pretty consistently during the football season. Stuff is delicious on wings.

I remember that. He's such a top notch dude for recognizing where he was and fixing it like he did. But since, he's just kinda fallen off the map.

Sept 30 will be my 4 years 🙂 I believe my grand exit from HOL was around this time, when I started a thread on lawn care tools, then proceeding to lay into Dean on his bullshit covering of the team.
