Fuck that, if he wants to coach LBs fire Rob D.
He and Rhule must be like oil and water, Ek wanted to be back in the area but must dislike his boss so much he’s ready to leave..
As has been said in here, this isn't going to be a great look for Rhule if this goes down.
I feel like the sentiment on him from fans and media has been turning, he will have even more against him if this happens

Not going to lie, I am very close to being out on him until we see a lot of evidence to prove otherwise.
Would probably be what finally puts me out. Man the extension from mid season will probably end up looking really dumb for Dannen
There are also other good special teams coaches out there. IDK if/why this is happening, & I don't like it at first glance, but doesn't automatically mean we're going back to Foley levels (or even regressing at all) if it's someone else next year.

Did you not pay attention to the D line hire?
It will be a double kick to the nuts because Archie and some of the other specialists would likely go with him.
The improvement in special teams is a big reason why we held serve record-wise this year. Would be a big loss and an even bigger red flag.
I bet the LB role is a bigger part of the problem
