I don't really understand this thought process.
It's like these people thought, "Yes, I am willing to write a huge check to help the Husker football team."
Then after some losses: "Now that's it has been proven you really need my money and there are some very specific positions where my money could help address the specific deficencies this teams has (DL)... nah, I'm out."
Minor point, but WR Mills is a sophomore. He played in every game this season.

There are some more DL entering the portal. One from OSU, one from Washington.

Would hope instant impact. Wasn't he almost 20 when he graduated HS? Should be ahead of his class peers when it comes to physical development.
he's going to be a redshirt freshman playing DT in the Big 10 coming off a knee injury. it would be great if he's the real deal, but if he's being counted on as a key piece of the DL it's a massive gamble
I would assume the ACL tear gives some people hesitation to think he will be an immediate contributor.
I don’t think he should be counted on but I think there’s a strong possibility he surprises a lot of people.
