That’s a pretty good landing spot for a walk-on I’ve never heard of before.
I wonder if he’s getting a scholarship there or if Fresno is taking him because of his DSA designation.
Good for him. Will never have any ill will towards him. If he were 6 ft tall, he'd be an all timer.
I could see the value play angle if they take him, redshirt him behind Moore and try to beat all his bad habits out of him, and then start him in 2027.
I think the fact that his camp has made it known he is willing to sit out a year and redshirt if he goes there simply speaks to their desperation.
True it will be interesting to see what they are willing to pay for a backup. If he ends up there they must really like him because I would think you could find a better fit that you don't have to jump through so many hoops for.
I think other schools will be much more "take it or leave it"
They have played it pretty dumb, so backup at Oregon is probably their best deal at this point.
Dayton going to be a waterboy at Oregon? Are they going to use a spot on the 105 for the backup QBs little brother? If it ends up going that way.
