I don't see how they think he would be good fit. I said it in another thread but he seems like the opposite of what they would want not mobile and a slow blinker. It will be interesting to see how it turns out.

I could see the value play angle if they take him, redshirt him behind Moore and try to beat all his bad habits out of him, and then start him in 2027.

I think the fact that his camp has made it known he is willing to sit out a year and redshirt if he goes there simply speaks to their desperation.

True it will be interesting to see what they are willing to pay for a backup. If he ends up there they must really like him because I would think you could find a better fit that you don't have to jump through so many hoops for.

They have played it pretty dumb, so backup at Oregon is probably their best deal at this point.
