I highly doubt Will actually had anything to do with it and it had a lot more to do with Ek being from David City, and coaching here before. A lot of the fan base was already calling for him.

Today’s game is one we lose 100% of the time the last 10 years, so that’s progress in my mind. I think some people need to be more realistic about where we’ve been as a program. Arguably a bottom 5 P4 team the last decade.

I look at it this way:

We’ve beat a top 25 team this year and we became bowl eligible before Halloween for the first time since 2016.

I’ll save my bitching for when we’re losing games.
