2026 DL JJ Finch
Nebraska recently extended an offer to three-star defensive lineman
JJ Finch from Indianapolis (Ind.) Warren Central. The 6-foot-3 and 260-pound Finch isn’t allowing the timing of the Huskers’ offer to prevent him from taking a closer look. In fact, Finch is in the process of setting up an official visit to Nebraska later in June.
“I am going to have to get over there and see what they’re all about,” Finch said. “My visit to Nebraska will be a mid-week visit. I don’t have it set up yet.”
Finch is a dominating force at defensive tackle. The Huskers see him playing the three-technique for them in their defense. However, he says he has the confidence to be able to move up and down the line/
“Nebraska sees me primarily as a three-technique,” Finch said. “I think that I could play all the way out to a three-technique and could play in an odd-front at a four or inside four.”
Finch has taken recent unofficial visits to Alabama, Florida, and Michigan this spring. He has three official visits set up at the moment to Alabama on May 30, LSU on June 6, and Alabama on June 13.
Nebraska is light on defensive line targets and their board took a tough blow when Titan Davis eliminated Nebraska and cut his list down to four schools. The Huskers are still in the picture to host four-star defensive lineman Valdin Sone.
Finch is rated three-stars by the On3 Industry Rankings. He is ranked as the No. 444 recruit, the No. 48 defensive lineman in the country, and the No. 3 player in Indiana for 2026.
note from Carm - the 3 OVs he has set up are LSU, Alabama, and Tennessee
