Long shot post - Being followed by Keith Williams, probably not a new follow but it doesn't matter. Entered portal 4/14, committed to Virginia 4/20, just de-committed. Played at Arkansas as a frosh, Colorado last year.

Is he good?

Hard to say - leading rusher on a pass-first team

He's 6-2, 210, was a 4 star out of HS (Florida)

Freshman year he showed some potential (Arkansas' leading rusher was their QB)

4.5 40, 1 fumble in 287 career snaps. Scouting report

Scouting Report: Strengths

  • He’s capable as a receiver, a weapon on swing passes and in the screen game.
  • Possesses quick feet and straight-line speed but doesn't have the elite burst to be a constant big-play threat. Improving patience as a runner, following pulling guards and makes good decisions on his cut.
  • He’s a natural pass catcher, at his best pulling in swing passes and heading upfield. He’s a natural in the screen game as well. His hands are good enough that Augustave can line up in the slot.
  • Augustave runs with violence; he’s capable of thrashing through tacklers, and he has the natural balance to withstand contact.
  • He’s at his best working in space, showing the quickness and vision of a return specialist. His stop-start ability allows him to create initial separation.
  • His vision is outstanding, and he has an innate understanding of when to go and when to sit back and wait for blocks to develop. Augustave thrives as a one-cut back

Scouting Report: Weaknesses

  • He’s shaky in pass protection, capable of making the correct reads but too reliant on cut blocks. When Augustave does stay on his feet, he too often ducks his head and lunges.
  • Augustave doesn’t always show great hands, and he takes too long to gather himself after making catches in the screen game.
  • A tall, upright runner who lacks great power as a runner. Not a quick-twitch athlete and is forced to gear down too much. Not very loose throughout his frame; looks tight redirecting. Will dance and leave his feet instead of taking what's there.

Looks like a capable #2 RB to me all considered
