Sort of my reaction, as well. I get that we as a fanbase--and I'm as guilty as anyone--go crazy over small details. I think Ron Brown has just been around for so long and seems to be in a not-that-significant role such that I really don't care about what's he doing. The guy isn't going to move any needles.

it's like everyone is afraid to just let him walk off into the sunset, so they keep moving him around and giving him a massive paycheck.

I mean he was WR coach under Tom, right?
I look at his time under Bo where we were cranking out top 3 in the B1G RBs. That would not suck to see us return to that. Lot of talent in that room right now.
I do think he would be a good mentor for the new offensive analyst that they think is a future coach.

For Ron to go from the Dir of player development to Sr Off Analyst...is that a pay cut? I mean Billy is only getting 36K as an analyst, I couldn't imagine a Sr. analyst making much more than that.

You are right, I remember Deab saying something about the salaries analysts get. I guess my bigger question is did Ron take a pay cut?
