Sharp was probably the biggest salary to cut on the station. McMaster works for McCheap….

I agree. I do enjoy this show outside of Doleman.
Does anyone think this could've been a Gary Sharp decision? Meaning he wasn't jibing with McMaster...or 1620 was trying to change the vibe and direction of his show.
I did notice in the last few months he seemed to ask questions that would be considered more stirring the pot; which seemed off-base (and uncomfortable) for Gary. I'm wondering if the station took him away from he excelled at it pertains to what they were asking him to say and talk about.

Possible but if he was leaving of his own accord you’d think he would publicly announce that, etc.
Gary and Matt have been good, but Gary and Damon were the best
I like Happer and Josh, I don't like Shaeff much other than a fill in at best
afternoon guys suck, I only listen to get me through the end of the work day

McAmateur is terrible to listen to.
I hope, as some have suggested, that Gary does an afternoon show on Hurrdat. That would make the transition away from any 1620 media much easier.

You're probably right unless they didn't allow him to do so. Just a bit surprising that you'd push your best guy out. Or at least your guy that understands the history of many of the local sports teams. And also the guy that everyone seemed to like the most - unless they're oblivious to that fact.
I think they’re oblivious, considering they still trot out that afternoon show, which Happer awkwardly talked about this morning and acknowledged message board posts such as this for shitting on USC. Twas weird.
I like Happer and Scaffer, will be a good show IMO.
