Two years of experience in the BIG, and he will be better next year with another year of strength and conditioning.

I just think of Ty Robinson, and how disappointed we all were his sophomore and junior years. Heck Suh wasn’t very good his sophomore year either.

Davis has really solid potential, and to me it sucks losing him when we could see his big time growth next year.
People wanted to run off Suh after his SO year.

I wouldn’t say hurts. Stings? Slight discomfort maybe? There are very few, if any, at this point that hurt. I certainly wish he stayed but the only way it hurts is if we aren't able to find someone to replace his eye popping 32 tackles and 1.5 sacks.
Hurts because we are unlikely to get a similar or better player to replace him iwbh

We played Keona Davis out of position as a 3-4 end. He was one of the few the staff agreed to bring out the brinks truck for last year to keep him. Played 12 games as a true freshman last year. We had dogshit coaching for him this year. The cycle continues, flush out the underclassmen then complain we’re not old
This.

It was another self-inflicted Matt Rhule decision to put guys in spots they didn’t fit, combined with a shitty coaching hire. Why Rhule wanted to play a three man front with Davis, RVP, Jeudy, and Nwaneri is criminal and has me seriously questioning Rhule in addition to other red flags that are popping up.

This is one of the things I was pointing to when everyone said how we were the youngest team in the conference this year, but if you are young and not very good, not sure that's a good thing.

23' class (which let's be fair it's always tough to throw a class together in short order like Rhule had to do) coupled with the original coordinator hires definitely put us behind at least a season IMO.

Yes and that’s why we needed a big transfer portal class last class and this one needed to be huge. Like 20-30 on the low end.

Keona leaving sucks and we will need to replace him at DE. I liked Kade a lot. The DE room was Williams > Keona > Kade. I think Kade can be fine taking those snaps from Keona but we don’t have any other DE’s that can serve as depth. Unless Simpson will play DE? IDK.

Bro they didn't even know the plays lol
did the coaching suck? Sure.
It’s also sounds like weaponized incompetence of you go an entire year without doing one of the cornerstones of you job.

These aren’t 18 year old unpaid kids. They fairly paid employees

He was 18 years old last year when we had to play him as a true freshman because we had no one else. The average age of Cockeye or Indiana’s D line is like 23
