Why people try to make the blackshirts something that they are not is baffling. Whoever runs with the 1’s in practice wears a black practice jersey. Keeping it as simple as this rather than undermining it with various manners of subjectivity holds true to the foundation of the tradition. JMO #GBR-MF

The point of the blackshirt tradition is for us as fans to have an opportunity to let the current players know that they are not as good as those on the teams that won national titles three out of four years.
