"I think there's going to be more of a defensive side start to things," he said. "Coach Cooper played a big role in me being offered. He's trying to bring back the white defensive backs is what he told me. He's pretty cool. I think it'll be a defensive start because they said they have some guys coming it at receiver. On the topic of the whites.
Rhule mentioned something along the lines of 10 nilerships not long ago right?
If out of state tuition (with room and board and food) is 28k that would equal 280k for those 10 spots. Maybe a little less if there are some instate guys. Is that really the best use of funds for roster spots 86-95?
Wouldn’t it be better to use 280k to buy a bigger name?

I'm going to guess it's even more $ than that. If the NIL deals are equivalent to the same as what a scholarship player gets it's probably closer to 50k - 75k or even more.
