I remember going into last year when a bunch of people had Tanner Morgan pegged as the second best QB in the B1G and a second tier Heisman Trophy guy. It's a wonder what playing with 2 round 1-3 receivers and a good running game will do.
Urban said that the biggest problem with our offense last year was we didn't have playmakers around Adrian, and I think there's a lot of truth to that. I do not think that Adrian has gotten nearly enough credit for what he's done offensively in 2019 & 20 without a lot of help.
Cockeye Gatorade Player of the years like to jump around.

2015: Noah Clayberg went to Cockeye, now at Dordt College
2016: Oliver Martin Michigan to Cockeye to Nebraska
Martin has been a popular name among coaches and teammates when it comes to wideout praise. Wyatt Liewer, the other Husker wideout who spoke to the media on Wednesday, said Martin doesn’t lose one-on-one battles. Martin says he ran a 4.5 40 during performance testing, a number that’s pretty favorable for a wideout on a double-laser test (laser-timed start and stop, the NFL Combine uses a hand watch for the start time, which Martin said can shave a few fractions of a second off a double-laser time).
Normally, they are Double Secret Probation, these 40 times.
