So I get often get real, real bored during my endless daily zoom calls, and that leads me down some football rabbit holes. I really think that the progress of the rush D flast year is pretty understated. Here's the breakdown 2014-2020 for yards per rush, p5 only since that's what actually matters and removes some outliers. You do get some weird spots where a team may have played only 1-2 P5 games a year. First takeaway, damn the B1G defenses are good. We were 30ish nationally and we were still basically tied at 8 w/ Michigan. Second takeaway, pretty obvious improvement for our best run defense since 2014. Returning pretty much everyone up front should only push this up.

trying to temper my expectations, but dang, that seems like an incredibly good line up. Through in Nixon and the white walkon wideouts (WWW's) and I'll take it.
