It’s a biden world manSomehow ended up in KC after sundown. This shit makes Omaha look like a fuckin gated resort community. Sirens, crashes, fucken gunshots, you name it. Cheap whores going in and out of my motel at all hours, methed up Missouri bumblefucks roaming the street, smacking they lips at me when I walk. At one point I was in a quick trip (which I thought might be somewhat reputable, even after midnight), dropping the kids off at the pool, when a gang of unruly teenagers invaded the place. I'm talking, kids hollering swears back and forth, one claimed to have peed in sink and/or trash, kicking on my stall door, and otherwise totally disrespecting the sanctity of a gas station throne. Some of these kids voices hadn't even changed yet, fuckin preteens out running the streets after midnight. That shit wouldn't fly in Ogallala. I'm in my crappy $160 per night motel room, huddled under the desk in a fetal position. But seriously, cheapest motel I could find that was not visibly in shambles or taken over by insects, on a weeknight, over 160 after some bullshit tax. Mornings light can't come soon enough.
I had a room at the Delano last year that was facing that now empty lot. Very sad/spooky vibes. The only thing I could think of when me and the wife were riding in ubers around Mandalay Bay a few weeks ago
I guess the town wasn't small enough. You’re not actually making fun of a dude for running while a military style weapon is being unleashed at a crowd are you?
Should he have thrown his guitar at the window or maybe politely asked him to stop over the microphone?
I don't know where that is but last time I really spent any time in KC was a few years ago for something with my wife's family. We went somewhere for breakfast with a teacher friend of hers and it was absolutely in Liberal country, and I remember my father in law saying "be careful, go a few blocks (a certain way) and you're gonna see some trouble." We ended up driving a few blocks to get back on the interstate and down some street was a bunch of what looked like chop shops and abandoned auto garage/yards. I assumed we were close to that but I have no idea.I had a room at the Delano last year that was facing that now empty lot. Very sad/spooky vibes.
Would've been great to see the crowd armed and opening up on that blacked out government helicopter.I guess the town wasn't small enough.
Ah, sorry for my poor explanation. The Delano is the other tower next to Mandalay Bay in Vegas. They're both part of the same hotel complex. My room faced the lot were the festival was held and the shooting happened. My wife booked all of our Vegas stuff and I don't honestly think I would have given her the green light to stay near there. Wouldn't have been able to stop staring. Is that venue spot still used at all?Ah, sorry for my poor explanation. The Delano is the other tower next to Mandalay Bay in Vegas. They're both part of the same hotel complex. It didn't appear to be in use. It was basically a giant dirt lot with literally nothing in it.My wife booked all of our Vegas stuff and I don't honestly think I would have given her the green light to stay near there. Wouldn't have been able to stop staring. Is that venue spot still used at all?
I would assume publicity on another event held at that spot probably wouldn't look great, and that guy would become re-famous again through mediaIt didn't appear to be in use. It was basically a giant dirt lot with literally nothing in it.
I probably wouldn't stay there either but I'm in Vegas for licensing show every year which is held at Mandalay Bay, so that's where work puts us.
