Do you bring your kids to Lincoln for the spring game?

And if so what else do you do while you're in town? We are driving up that morning but will have all Saturday evening to do something. In the past we always went to the spring game and then the kids would just go swim at the hotel. But I'd like to do something else...plus it's my wife's first time to Lincoln.

My boys are 8, 11, and 13 for reference.

Anything worth walking to down there?

There's the children's museum. It is kind of expensive for it being a museum, but the kids can have some fun. The older kids may be a bit bored by the end though. There's a few neat putt putt golf courses around. The Zoo. Pioneer's Park is nice to hike around. Laser tag. Yeah, that's all I got. Most of those you can't walk to from downtown though, sorry. Kind of depends on the weather too.

8, 11, and 13 are tough ages for things to do in Lincoln, especially downtown. We have a 13 year old and it's a little tough to find things for him and his friends.

A few things that are fun for that age:
- Urban Air. It's a trampoline and adventure center (dodgeball, sky obstacle course, rock climbing). I haven't been there personally, but he was for a birthday party and loved it. Bad part is it's over on 70th and Van Dorn, so a 15 minute drive from downtown and heard it can get busy on weekends.
- Round1 bowling and video arcade. It's in Gateway mall, huge arcade and bowling. I went about a month ago with wife and 13 year old for just video games. We loved it. Less than a 10 minute drive from downtown. Hundreds of games and stuff to do for all ages.
- Prehistoric Putt. I haven't been there, but he has a couple times and had fun. It's a short drive from downtown, probably 5 minutes.

Prehistoric Putt is one my kids always like. There is also a nice one around 56th and Highway 2 that is good. Has 3 different courses including a new one (that is ridiculously hard).
