I think 5-7 or 7-5 is the ceiling of this specific team due to youth. I would really question things if we don’t hit 6 wins personally but if there are some moral nuggets or reasons behind missing that last win to get a bowl I can accept that I think.

If we lose to Cockeye and Colorado then I also think I’d have to question things a little bit.

6-6 and a bowl game feels like the ceiling for me. I agree with your other points entirely for year one.

if we found a way in 2013-2014 to win 9 we should always be able to win 6

6-6 and a bowl is what I expect as a standard. If we lose to a crappy team, that means we've overachieved vs better teams, so I'm not sweating which games.

Lower than that I'm disappointed, but it depends on whether it looks like a good & improving football team.

7-5 is what I personally (and not entirely logically) think the team should do.
