I actually met Vern once at a celebrity golf tournament around 2008. Someone had left him propped up against a porta potty. Dude. Was. Tiny. Also kind of a dick.

Went through Customs coming back from Calgary at the same time as Vern. He was incredibly "petite", but traveled with a very, very large human as a body guard, I guess. Also didn't know he didn't have his lower legs (those had to come off to get through security - no shit). I nodded and thanked him for entertaining me in the movies, and he acknowledged the compliment and moved on.
