I’m basing the 200 yds less on TJ and more on Nyzaiah, Key, and Emmett getting heavy YAC. And I think we may see Barney re-emerge here.

There is an amazing amount of confidence in Lateef getting over 200 yds total offense.

Keep in mind, Dylan was going to be 4 out of 5 games UNDER 200 yds himself (rushing yds not shown - but he didn't gain anything there).

I think Lateef will be at 150-185 total yds.

Dylan Raiola total offense 2025. Again, rushing yds not shown - but he's in the negative every game.

perfect illustration of why some think that we may not be all that different offensively... if not better.

This was my argument with people who were all bent on his 5-7 for 7 yards passing. He wasn't given any opportunity to do anything more.
I don’t think that’s exactly true. He did throw a couple downfield and, according to Rhule, there were a couple of longer pass plays called where Lateef scrambled instead.

What I expect from a true freshman thrown into the middle of a game when he hasn’t played in … 5 weeks? And playing the nations #1 pass D

Im not really making a judgment at all on Lateef either. Just noting that the claim “he wasn’t given an opportunity to do more” is not entirely accurate.

so we will call it 5-9. with 20 yards of scramble. I recall a couple of fades maybe. And I would like to see the video on those longer pass plays. I thought all day that our receivers were having a difficult time getting separation. Did he miss wide open guys or were they all covered on his scrambles?

This Saturday will be interesting to say the least. He's going to make some mistakes. Nerves will play a major part in that. Hopefully the game plan will help to mitigate the severity of those mistakes.
