Lol. I like that we've basically spent the past 15 years going back and forth between the team is too fat and the team is not fat enough. And we can't run a 43 because we can't recruit legit DEs but we can't run a 34 because we can't recruit legit OLBsI like that old joke on rrs saying the ideal size for an NG was 5’8” 340lbs.

We are wayyyyyy too white on both OL and DL.We do have way too many honkies on the OL. We need to send Mickey down south to Black church and find the fattest assed southern momma's that he can and convince them to send their boys up to Lincoln
Why can Cockeye, Minnesota, and Wisconsin be all white on the O-line and good and we can’t?We are wayyyyyy too white on both OL and DL.
Expert development. They'd be even better if they had more diverse lines though. Why can Cockeyes, Minnesota, and Wisconsin be all white on the O-line and good and we can’t?
Cockeye and Wisconsin probably have top 10 caliber offensive lines most years and Minnesota has been pretty good lately too. They wouldn’t be that much better. I can buy the defense part. Teams like Wisconsin and Cockeye’s problem is they aren’t at athletic up front on defense and their skill players aren’t on par with the best of the best. Their o-lines are quality enough.Expert development. They'd be even better if they had more diverse lines though.
We take the bad honkies. If we took the good honkies it wouldn't be a problem.Cockeyes and Wisconsin probably have top 10 caliber offensive lines most years and Minnesota has been pretty good lately too. Hell yeah bro honkey tonk!!!We take the bad honkies. If we took the good honkies it wouldn't be a problem.
Maybe. I'd still prefer some culture in that room.We take the bad honkies. If we took the good honkies it wouldn't be a problem.
You boys go down to the honkey tonk you will get plenty of cultureMaybe. I'd still prefer some culture in that room.

We had one guy try that, and he is now suspended.I can't believe someone hasn't said steroids.
Cuz you know, that is how we built our dominant lines in the past.

As long as it makes me miserable I can express it with incredible clarityToby, you boil everything down far too perfectly here, and also in other places. It must be a gift and also a curse.
BTW, the current team concurrently is too fat, too thin, doesn't do enough power lifting, and also doesn't go low enough on their jump-squat reps to really build power to knock fockers off the line.

I know everyone is hyping up teddy as a beast, and I really hope he is. But I would argue Nouili was our most proven linemen coming back this year. Not having him is a big loss.My suggestion was in jest of course.
But your point is still true! Although we don't know what he tested positive for exactly. Still a big loss on an already thin (depth wise) O Line that couldn't afford to lose it's best, or at least 2nd best, O Lineman.
