3 years ago id have said basketball because I thought that was the easiest to turn around. Such a tough conference though.

Baseball to a super regional would definitely be #1 and more comparable to sweet 16 and conf championship imho.

As it is, you do not need to win your conference to get into the Sweet 16 or CWS. which I think makes it easier for those sports.

I don't think it's football, but the argument I'd make for football is that the Big Ten West isn't very good, as evidenced by the number of close games we've played against the "top" when we've been a pile of shit and it becomes a de facto single win to win the conference after winning a not good division

That was my thinking as well. We should be winning our side of the conference often but I don’t see us beating Ohio St anytime soon in the championship game
