Not gonna lie, I can’t stand listening to Damon Benning on the radio. He just talks too slow and he’s too quiet and like you said, seems to try and use vocabulary that comes off so unnatural and forced. I’ve literally tried, wanted to like him but… There’s just something about the way he speaks that makes me want to change the station.
Sorry Damon if you’re on here, nothing personal you seem like a good guy. I just can’t listen to you talk about anything. It’s a me problem.

It’s like me listening to my 7 year old take 12 minutes to get to her point when it could have been done in 12 seconds and absentmindedly throwing in a “Mmmhmm” every 30 seconds or so.
This is the second worst visit he could take. If he takes a visit to Nebraska, I may lose it.
As for why I like Florida State, I'll be honest, a lot of it was I thought the uniforms looked cool when I was a kid and now its just nice to have a rooting interest sometimes that I don't have have to talk about in depth on the show. Unlike a lot of people who have similar jobs to me, I am still a very big Nebraska fan, so it isn't always the most fun to not be able to unplug at all when things are going poorly.

I wish I had a second CFB team to root for. Dad wouldn't allow it in our household. All my friends had ND, Michigan, FSU, Miami and other schools as their side piece but that shit didn't fly at home.

Then they moved when I was in 4th grade so I became a USC fan because I’d play as them in the og NCAA. Plus my brothers a Texas fan.
Then I went to a tcu baseball game probably when I was in 6 or 7 grade and again with my brother being a Texas fan I continued to piss him off. Still to this day a frogsker
