Week 7 @ #16 Indiana: Depth Chart, Game Notes, Odds & Ends, etc

Makes me wonder if it's mostly on Dylan or his receivers not winning on routes.
Prolly a little of both but probably more Dylan than the WRs.
Man is exponentially tougher for a qb, especially a young one. And he’s played some good secondary players that can confuse him.

In the spirit of Indiana hate week, Parks & Rec was mid.
This Is The Worst GIF by Parks and Recreation

Only really loved Aziz in that show though.

JMU players have played in more meaningful games?
I'd put it as "JMU players have won more games." Period.

Let's be honest, we're still not over that mental hurdle yet. Rhule said he felt like players were watching the scoreboard vs Illinois. We could have actually lost that game at Purdue had their 3rd Q TD counted (flag was correct). Rutgers game was a nice step in the right direction.

There's something to be said for turning up every week, grinding out a W, even when things aren't going your way. Nebraska has a real shortage of guys who have done this at the collegiate level. Those JMU guys have.

This IMO is why Rhule was so bothered by the Illinois loss....he's trying to instill a "we grind out a W every week, no matter how ugly" mentality with this team and we completed choked our opportunity to do that.

I have real trouble placing my $$$ on NU to win one of these sphincter-clenching road B1G games. The JMU guys - yeah it was a division lower but winning is winning.

TW gonna fuck em up.

From the new guy at Dean's:

***Tony White has faced Kurtis Rourke before when Ohio welcomed Syracuse to open the 2021 season. Rourke finished 21-of-28 for 142 yards and an interception against White’s defense in a 29-9 loss.
75% passing with a new head coach in their first game! what a chump! They’re fucked this weekend!

I know you're being sarcastic, but 21 completions for 140 yards isn't exactly lighting it up.

I think he's a good QB that I hope we'll be able to rattle. Force him to get out of the comfortable RPO bullshit

I don’t see how they could beat us

We might win by 40
Jokes aside, I know it's tough to replicate the Colorado attitude and atmosphere, but find a way to get close to that, and this game isn't close.
