Week 1 v Cincinnati (Arrowhead Stadium) - Thursday, August 28: Depth Chart, Game Notes, Etc
There was a commotion going on down at the desk when I went out for a smoke. Apparently some people were complaining about randoms knocking on thier door. Apparently these folks just flew in from Cincinnati earlier.
And then they went 9-3 #2ndChoice’s last year in the American. Taking over a good team going up a level in competition is probably harder than trying to resurrect a team that has all the resources to beat the teams your asked to beat imo.

I would agree that transition is tough. I actually think their fanbase is one of the more ignorant group of fans in the country.
They don't think the transition was significant because they feel like The Bearcats have always been a "power conference" school. And they currently don't think there is any difference between the Big Ten and Big 12.
As for what each coach inherited:
Rhule inherited better players on defense and the line of scrimmage. But the skill players left behind were a mess.
Satterfield was basically given the opposite. And he still hasn't been able to retool the majority of that defense outside of Corleone and their linebackers.
In fact, Cincy won't start a single DB or Dlinemen signed and recruited out of high school by the Satterfield staff.
