I believe Cincy couldn't afford to transport and house their band. It is technically their home game. Nebraska is being kind.

I also believe the Husker band travels to one road game per season and they want it to be Big Ten game.
I get the one road game per year deal but feels like you could just rent a bus for a day with no overnight requirement. I’m guessing they’ll be at Minnesota or Cockeye instead but feels like it’s close enough would’ve loved to have had them there

Just to add to this wonderful weekend, you can stick around an extra day and travel to Lawrence for Friday night's game against Wagner and experience the new renovations to the stadium.

Went by the renovated stadium a few weeks ago…🔥🔥. Gonna be very nice once it is all done.

Would certainly rather him being saying this than that they’re firing on all cylinders ready to play but also wonder how much of this is trying to speak to his team through the media

I don’t think most coaches are going to say what they really think, except for maybe McKay back in the ‘70’s.

You never know who their message is targeting, or if they’re just going through the motions and checking the interview box with no intended message at all. He mentions they looked sloppy, but also says they played everybody, which makes sense. Last hurrah before they start prepping for Nebraska and the focus is on the 2 deep.

I honestly don’t know what to expect from them. They don’t have a great or garbage roster. Interesting mix of experience and youth, but Satterfield hasn’t exactly lit things up.
