I think you can add him as an authenticated user to access without your credentials (or 2FA).Or it wasn't him and I just emailed him a random 6 digit number for no reason.
I should see if there's a way to turn it off. Did that code work?It was me. Fucking 2fA
Don't turn it off. I'm speaking from a cybersecurity individual from my plant systems. 2FA will save your ass more than you know.I should see if there's a way to turn it off. Did that code work?
Good point.Don't turn it off. I'm speaking from a cybersecurity individual from my plant systems. 2FA will save your ass more than you know.
It's a 30 second code usually. It's such a tight window. 2FA can be a few different things, but once these issues get fixed out, switch to Google Authenticator (30 second codes) and add others as admins to the pages, but with 2FA.Good point.
For some reason the code only works some of the time too though. GoDaddy ftw
I'll definitely set up Google Authenticator. Thank you! It's a 30 second code usually. It's such a tight window. 2FA can be a few different things, but once these issues get fixed out, switch to Google Authenticator (30 second codes) and add others as admins to the pages, but with 2FA.
I got one on my personal phone. Won't ever get rid of my Google Authenticator for those codes.I'll definitely set up Google Authenticator. Thank you!
fwiw I haven't had any issues for the past hour or so
Everytime i've tried to get onto the site and had issues i was using cellularDon't say that... 🤣. I felt like we were taking baby steps to getting a reason.
Can you try this to verify it's an IP address issue?
Next time you have the issue on your iPhone can you toggle your wifi? Meaning if you're on wifi and have the issue, turn it off and use cellular connection and see if you can access. If you're on cellular connection, turn on wifi and check.
Let me know and we will just post a big fake announcement to get a flood of people 🤣I got one on my personal phone. Won't ever get rid of my Google Authenticator for those codes.
Need a heavier traffic load to figure out if there are any issues.
We'll find out Sunday? Haha. Hopefullly.Let me know and we will just post a big fake announcement to get a flood of people 🤣

Yo Garrett - if you use Google Authenticator and I agree with @Juro thats it’s the best, it’s super important to know that if you update your phone, you have to export your Authenticator keys before you give up your old phone. It’s a nightmare to fix that problem if you don’t know to do so and a lot of people don’t know that. You can’t just “sign in” to Authenticator on your new phone and have your keys/codes there.I'll definitely set up Google Authenticator. Thank you!

It won't hurt.Someone recommended we try this add-on which helps manage high traffic. Thoughts?

I should probably delete some addons that we don’t use anymore as well thenIt won't hurt.
I think tPB has higher traffic, but not the highest to require this.
Go for it. Just note when you install this and do a database backup just in case. The more add-ons, the worse it can be for the site.
Go for it. The more add-ons, the more code interjected into the website. Less code == less glitches.I should probably delete some addons that we don’t use anymore as well then
