So I'm guessing GoDaddy is the DNS host as well.

I read this post about this issue that dnschecker said about theplatinumboard.com.

I think the heavier traffic in the last few days (makes sense with tPB name getting out there this week and problems started this week) has been throwing off DNS traffic.

Thanks I'll check it out.

Here is what I've found out since I jumped on this last night.
1. I've only had users with VPNs say they have had issues. No one thus far isn't on a VPN, granted very small number of reports, but 100% are on VPN. All have said if they reset VPN/IP they can get on for a limited time before it happens again.
2. Those same users in #1 can reach a static html page on same server/same domain name as board. Thus leading me to believe it's a forum software issue, not DNS or server. Can't access https://theplatinumboard.com/index.php, but can access https://theplatinumboard.com/test.html
3. Server loads, even at peak times are less than <2%.
4. No errors or anything out of the ordinary in server logs that I've viewed. No banned IPs on server.

Thanks I'll check it out.

Not sure if it's relevant, but I did not have a VPN when it first started happening. I only signed up for Nord after so that I could try to get on using that

Every time I had an issue, I checked "downforeveryoneorjustme.com" and it was just me (obviously, a lot of members, but not the host issue.

-So if it's not DNS, like you said, it's gotta be the forum software. You might have to export the log using phyMyAdmin to see if any errors are coming up through that.
-Sounds like this member on Xenforo had the similar issue, but no fix
-Though from 2017, this sounds familiar with issues we're having.

Don't say that... 🤣. I felt like we were taking baby steps to getting a reason.

Can you try this to verify it's an IP address issue?

Next time you have the issue on your iPhone can you toggle your wifi? Meaning if you're on wifi and have the issue, turn it off and use cellular connection and see if you can access. If you're on cellular connection, turn on wifi and check.

I tried sending him a DM to ask if he ever figured it out

It's such a weird issue. Would rather have the host (GoDaddy) just fall apart and give us 404 errors. At least we know it's the host at that point.

This is either a forum software or DNS issue (unlikely DNS though).

GoDaddy won't see any issues because it's not their issues as far as them being host.

I think the issue lies in when people go to a website bookmark or a particular page that it runs into that issue, which is a forum software issue. And that's a bitch finding that particular issue.

I just looked around a little and didn't see a DNS section. I'm also an idiot though so maybe @alt f4 knows where it is
It would be on GoDaddy's admin console. Wouldn't be on the page's admin section (the backend to these forums).
